Up Before the Sun

Around me, Darkness, Black, Pitch
Darkness which numbs the mind, thoughts wishing to be thought are stalled
This Black called Night
Unbroken, eternal, every minute like an hour. Darkness, before my eyes, a wall

Silence deafens the ears
While the blinding Darkness seeps deep even to the soul
The senses all but disappear
Nothing heard, everything listened to, Nothing seen, everything observed

But i tire not, I do not sleep
My mind is awake, It wanders upon things it shouldn’t see yet
It asks questions, It gets answers
Throughout the Darkness my mind spreads light and new ideas are set

It, the Silence, the Darkness, doesn’t bother me
The dull senses only sharpen the mind, captured body just frees the soul
No longer is anything hidden
Everything is out in the open. The Knowledge of the contemporary, the Wisdom of the old
All is Calm
Then something interrupts the blissful Darkness
It touches the Body, it awakens the senses
My mind’s inquiry desists
My souls roaming is stalled, its journey ends

Light
The body stirs, the senses rejoise, the World awakens
Silence disappears
Sound is unleashed, All the light in my mind darkens

After the darkness has fleeted
And Silence is no more, my mind still longs for the Light to be gone
It desires Darkness
it wants Silence. It waits to be Up Before the Sun
